Martial artists typically wear traditional uniforms while practicing, training, attending a class, or participating in a competition. There are specific uniforms for Karate, Taekwondo, Jiu-Jitsu, Tang Soo Do, Judo, Kung Fu, Kendo, and other disciplines. These uniforms are often known as a gi, though the uniforms in some disciplines have other names. For instance, the uniform worn in Taekwondo is usually called a dobok.
